General work description: The work to be done generally consists of removing a 36” CMP and installing 62 linear feet of 36” RCP and 29 linear feet of cast in place 4’ x 3’ box culvert on Springbrook Road in the Walnut Creek area. Additional improvements include, replacing an existing drainage structure with a Type IV manhole, installing two Type III manholes, clearing and grubbing, mill and overlay, and reconstructing existing roadway and pavement striping.

PROJECT SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The purpose of the proposed project is to expand and enhance essential public safety and youth development services within the City of Brentwood and greater East Contra Costa County region. The project is a collaboration between the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and Contra Costa County to build two separate public-service facilities on a vacant 4.68-acre site. The project seeks to construct Fire Station No. 90 (FS90) to improve emergency response capacity and coverage, and the District 3 Youth Center (D3YC) to provide comprehensive, community-driven programs and services intended for local youth ages 12-18. Both the Fire Station No. 90 and District 3 Youth Center facilities are needed to strengthen public safety, health, and community well-being in a rapidly growing area.

Painting work. A JOC is a competitively bid, Unit Price, indefinite quantity contract that is awarded to a Prime Contractor. Once awarded, work is accomplished through the issuance of individual Job Orders. Job Order Contracts #001 - #002 Painting, awarded under this solicitation will each have a Minimum Contract Value of $25,000 and a Maximum Contract Value of $1,000,000. The County reserves the right to issue Job Orders totaling less than the Maximum Contract Value. Each contract will be for a term of 12 months.

General work description: The work to be done generally consists of constructing curb bulb-outs, curb ramps, a pedestrian refuge median island, and installing a solar rectangular rapid flashing beacon system at the intersection of Appian Way and Fran Way in unincorporated El Sobrante

The work includes repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, and demolition work performed on, facilities, parks, infrastructure, landscaping or other real property.

This Job Order Contract(s) (JOC) provides a different contracting method to complete various types of horizontal construction work, maintenance and improvements. The type of work to be conducted by the JOC will vary, including work on roads, flood control infrastructure, airports, parks, and landscaping, such as but not limited to, pavement repairs and replacement, crack seal, slurry seal, skin patching, asphalt concrete cold planning, pavement leveling, shoulder widening, hot mix asphalt paving, storm damage repair work, rock slope protection, slope stabilization, culvert repair work, concrete structure repair work, vegetation planting and maintenance, and park improvements and maintenance. This work shall be in accordance with the Special Provisions and/or Specifications, prepared by or for the Public Works Director, as well as in accordance with the accepted Bid Proposal.

General work description: The work to be done generally consists of rehabilitating the existing bridge by replacing the bearing pads at the abutments. Additional work items could include traffic control, spot blast/clean/paint repairs, concrete spall repairs, bridge deck treatment, and sidewalk and curb replacement on the Robert I. Schroder Pedestrian Bridge over Treat Boulevard in the Walnut Creek area.

General work description: The work consists of various road, flood control, and airport maintenance work to provide support as needed to Public Works Maintenance crews for various routine road, flood control, and airport maintenance repairs, such as, but not limited to, pavement repairs and replacement, crack seal, slurry seal, skin patching, asphalt concrete cold planing, pavement leveling, shoulder widening, hot mix asphalt paving, storm damage repair work, rock slope protection, slope stabilization, culvert repair work, and concrete structure repair work.

General work description: The work will be done on 4 sites on Deer Valley Road. Work on site 1 at Deer Valley Road at Empire Mine Road generally consists of pavement widening, installation of a solar speed feedback sign system, roadside signs, placement of a concrete ditch lining, and placing thermoplastic striping. At site 2 located North of Wetzl Lane, work includes installation of a solar speed feedback sign system and installing roadside signs on existing posts. At site 3 located north of Briones Valley Road work includes installation of MGS, roadside signs, and a solar feedback sign system. At site 4 located South of Briones Valley Road will widen a portion of the shoulder on the east side of Deer Valley Road, and install 2 solar speed feedback sign systems and roadway signs.
