The work to be done generally consists of repairing an embankment failure by excavating slide debris, constructing a solider pile retaining wall, rebuilding the embankment with lightweight cellular concrete fill, replacing the cross culvert drainage system, reconstructing roadway surface, completing associated site grading, installing railings, and installing erosion control measures.

General work description: The work to be done generally consists of installing a prefabricated Debris Separating Baffle Box (DSBB) on Flora Avenue in the Saranap area. Work includes temporary water diversion and dewatering, roadway and structure excavation, temporary shoring, installation of DSBB unit, and reconstruction of roadway.

The project includes one building with a total of 11,803 SF to demolish and replace several electrical systems. The existing main switchboard will be replaced with a 600A switchboard to accommodate the lighting changes and provide capacity for future electrical services. The interior lighting system will either be retrofit or new light fixtures with energy efficient light emitting diode (LED) bulbs will be installed. In addition, new power outlets will be installed on the main library floor for public use. Lastly, the installation of power outlets triggers accessibility improvements for the building which includes accessible parking re-location, path of travel improvements from the parking lot to the main entrance, and public restroom upgrades.

General work description: A contract to provide trucking services consisting of trucks and operators for the transportation of aggregate from the quarry to various stockpile locations throughout the County, and also for the transportation of the chip seal aggregate from the stockpile locations to various roads throughout the County.

The project includes one building with a total of 15,245 SF to demolish and replace several building systems. The existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system will be demolished and replaced with a new all-electric HVAC system. The roofing system will include a full replacement of the built up roof and the metal standing seam roof. The electrical system will replace the existing electrical switchboard with a 1000A main switchboard, retrofit or new light fixtures with energy efficient light emitting diode (LED) bulbs, and power outlets on the main library floor for public use. In addition, the project accessibility improvements includes accessible parking re-location, path of travel improvements from the parking lot to the main entrance, public restroom upgrades as shown in the drawings entitled “Pinole Library Accessibility Upgrades, Pinole Library HVAC Replacement, Pinole Library Electrical Upgrade, and Pinole Library Roof Replacement.” Contractor shall be responsible for procurement of all equipment and materials.

Located at Technology Way in Brentwood, the East County Service Center will be a three-story, approximate 120,077 GSF structure with surface parking. This will be the first regional service center of its kind for the County, co-locating ten different County Departments in one location. The project vision is, to provide a new integrated County service center for the residents of East County; that is convenient, innovative, accessible and an anchor to the community; by offering a full range of public services in a flexible, safe, and welcoming environment. The proposed new work shall comply with all applicable codes and guidelines, including the California Building Code, Title 24, Contra Costa County Building Design and Construction Guidelines. The DBE shall be responsible for all work required for the new County administrative building to obtain all required permits, operating approvals, and applicable certifications.

The project includes the removal of an existing cart washer and installing a new cart washer in the hospital’s SPD. There is also the installation of a new DI water system and air compressor in the boiler room and stairwell. Work includes but is not necessarily limited to demolition and removal of the old cart washer, modifying the existing building structure to accommodate the new cart washer, installing the new cart washer, installing the new DI water system, installing a new air compressor, and other minor modifications as shown in the drawings titled “CCRMC Cart Wash Upgrade, 2500 Alhambra Avenue, Martinez, CA 94553 – HCAI Backcheck Response 05/12/2023” and “CCRMC Cart Wash Upgrade, 2500 Alhambra Avenue, Martinez, CA 94553 – Change Order CO-01 / ACD0001 12/20/2024” by Ratcliff. The contractor shall also procure the new cart washer, DI water system, and any associated parts and pieces for both pieces of equipment. Furthermore, the contractor shall adhere to instructions provided by the hospital’s Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) department.

General work description: The work to be done generally consists of applying an asphalt rubber chip seal covered with a type II slurry seal on various roads in the unincorporated area of Walnut Creek. Work involves pavement surface preparation including: weed spray, pavement failure repair, crack sealing, edge grinding, removal of existing thermoplastic stripes and markings, setting survey monuments, and placement of thermoplastic traffic striping and pavement markings.

General work description: The work to be done generally consists of cold planning and placing an HMA overlay of various roads in the Walnut Creek Area. Work includes, removing existing curb and sidewalk, and placing concrete curb ramps in compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, setting survey monuments and placement of thermoplastic traffic stripes and markings.

General work description: The work to be done generally consists of placing two types of surface treatments on various roads in Kensington area: a type II fiberized slurry seal, or cold plane and overlay with hot mix asphalt (HMA), and cold plane and overlay on Clark Road in El Sobrante. Work will involve surface preparation, including weed spray, crack sealing, pavement failure repair, edge grinding, removal of existing thermoplastic stripes and pavement markings, removal of existing curb and sidewalk, and placing concrete curb ramps in compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, setting survey monuments, and placement of thermoplastic striping and pavement markings.
